En el encuentro se promovi\u00f3 y avanz\u00f3 en la integraci\u00f3n comercial de este acuerdo multilateral, el cual permite la liberalizaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 90% de las mercanc\u00edas transadas entre los cuatro pa\u00edses miembros.<\/p>\n<p>El gerente general de AmCham Chile, Roberto Matus, destac\u00f3 que \u201cla Alianza del Pac\u00edfico es un bloque econ\u00f3mico que se proyecta con mucho futuro y que es muy relevante para la regi\u00f3n y nuestro pa\u00eds. Per\u00fa, M\u00e9xico, Colombia y Chile, adem\u00e1s de los 49 pa\u00edses observadores, son lugares en los cuales los socios de AmCham tienen operaciones. Por eso, para ellos fue relevante poder vincularse e interactuar con las m\u00e1s de 700 empresas y delegaciones empresariales que fueron parte de esta instancia\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Al t\u00e9rmino de la cumbre, AmCham Chile ofreci\u00f3 una comida a sus socios junto a diversas autoridades, entre ellas, la directora ejecutiva del Consejo Empresarial de la Alianza del Pac\u00edfico (CEAP), Loreto Leyton; el gerente general del Teatro del lago, Nicol\u00e1s B\u00e4r; la directora ejecutiva de Imagen de Chile, Myriam G\u00f3mez, y el director de AmCham Chile y presidente de Principal Financial Group para Am\u00e9rica Latina, Roberto Walker.[:en]Authorities and members have recently participated in the XI Pacific Alliance Business Summit, which included the presence of seven Latin American presidents in the southern Chilean town of Puerto Varas. The event promoted and advanced business integration within the multilateral agreement, enabling the liberalization of more than 90% of goods traded between the four member countries.<\/p>\n<p>The General Manager of AmCham Chile, Roberto Matus, stated that, \u201cthe Pacific Alliance is an economic bloc with a sound future and one which is highly relevant for our country and the region. AmCham Chile members currently operate in all four signatory countries to the Alliance, Peru, Mexico, Colombia and Chile, in addition to the 49 observer nations.
