For this reason, we are proud to share with you our second annual Sustainability Report; which outlines our performance in 2015 across a number of important sustainability indicators, including: fish health and welfare, environmental impact, regulatory compliance, and community engagement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To us, sustainability is about being a good neighbor \u2013 respecting the environment, supporting local communities, and acting responsibly with the highest levels of governance. Through this report we aim to share our intentions, actions, and results on how we are performing as we work to embody this position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We hope you will take a read through the report to see more of what we have been working on, but we also wanted to share some initial highlights:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>News of our <strong>first ASC certification<\/strong> \u2013 which we hope will be the first of many<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Our continued <strong>3-star award from GAA\u2019s Best Aquaculture<\/strong> <strong>Practice <\/strong>program \u2013 the first of its kind awarded to a salmon producer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Our continued efforts in environmental improvements <strong>including a 17% reduction in the use of antibiotics and another year w<\/strong>ith no fish escapes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Our work with <strong>WWF Chile and The Blue Whale Centre<\/strong> on conserving the local ecosystems to support the continued livelihoods of these beautiful creatures off the coast of Patagonia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Plus, an update across a number of exciting social activities we have run as part of our <strong><em>Camanchaca Amiga<\/em><\/strong> program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While we are pleased with our progress in 2015, sustainability is a continuous journey and we invite you to take a look through our Sustainability Report to see how we are continually seeking to better integrate sustainability efforts into our day to day actions.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>You can view the report <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.camanchaca.cl\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Salmon-Sustainability-Report-2015.pdf\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a><strong>, or by visiting our interactive dashboard on our website <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.camanchaca.cl\/en\/sustentabilidad\/salmones\/\"><strong>here.<\/strong><\/a>[:]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[:es]At Camanchaca our mission is to feed the world from the ocean, and we know this will only be achieved if we can do so sustainably, and transparently.
