Adem\u00e1s, Carey fue galardonado en la categor\u00eda Private Equity por su asesor\u00eda a PTT Mobile y Nextel Chile en la venta de Nextel a Novator. Jorge Carey es jurista de la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile y parte de su experiencia profesional incluye el haber sido abogado del Fondo Monetario Internacional y del Banco Mundial en Washington D.C.[:en]Jorge Carey, senior partner at Carey, has been awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his influential career. The award was presented in Sao Paolo during the Deal of the Year Awards organized by Latin Lawyer, a British publication that recognizes the efforts of different law firms across the region, as well as individual legal professionals. Jorge was also awarded a prize in the Private Equity category for his consultancy to PTT Mobile and Nextel Chile concerning the sale of Nextel to Novator.
