{"id":7760,"date":"2010-03-30T10:11:32","date_gmt":"2010-03-30T10:11:32","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2017-09-04T12:12:10","modified_gmt":"2017-09-04T15:12:10","slug":"ayudemos-a-las-victimas-del-terremoto","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/amchamchile.cl\/en\/noticia\/ayudemos-a-las-victimas-del-terremoto\/","title":{"rendered":"<!--:es-->Ayudemos a las V\u00edctimas del Terremoto<!--:--><!--:en-->How to Help Earthquake Victims<!--:-->"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--:es--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La zona devastada por el terremoto y maremoto requiere de ayuda para salir de la emergencia, pero tambi\u00e9n para poder reconstruir en forma m\u00e1s definitiva.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con el fin de hacer m\u00e1s expeditas y efectivas las donaciones que las empresas y particulares quieren hacer para ayudar a la reconstrucci\u00f3n de las zonas afectadas por el terremoto\/tsunami que impact\u00f3 a Chile el 27 de febrero pasado, <strong>AmCham ha seleccionado\u00a0tres sectores hacia donde dirigir los aportes suyos.<\/strong><br \/>\nEntendemos que es en el inter\u00e9s de todos que las donaciones y ayudas puedan llegar <strong>de manera expedita\u00a0 y directamente<\/strong> hacia los destinatarios de su inter\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"mceItem\" style=\"margin: 10px; float: left; border: 0pt;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/sites\/default\/files\/salud2.gif\" width=\"100\" height=\"95\" \/>Estamos apoyando un proyecto de Coaniquem, que atiende normalmente a ni\u00f1os quemados, ha abierto las puertas\u00a0 de su Centro de Santiago a los pacientes, m\u00e9dicos y personal del Hospital F\u00e9lix Bulnes para cirug\u00edas ambulatorias. Para que se pueda cumplir con este plan de ayuda se requieren US$ 690.000.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"mceItem\" style=\"margin: 10px; float: left;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/sites\/default\/files\/educacion.gif\" width=\"150\" height=\"88\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AmCham apoya un proyecto de Sociedad Activa (la primera asociaci\u00f3n de empresas en Chile que se crea para recaudar y administrar fondos orientados a la concreci\u00f3n de programas de responsabilidad social en pro del desarrollo de una determinada comunidad, filial de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unitedway.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">United Way<\/a>\u00a0) orientado a la reconstrucci\u00f3n de jardines infantiles en la zona del terremoto.\u00a0 Para su aporte hacer click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.liveunited.org\" target=\"_blank\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"mceItem\" style=\"float: left;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/sites\/default\/files\/prodividad_1.gif\" width=\"145\" height=\"77\" \/>\u00a0Entendemos que hay que recuperar la productividad en las zonas da\u00f1adas por el Tsunami, aportando -entre otros- los instrumentos de trabajo que perdieron los pescadores de la regi\u00f3n. Son cerca de 1.800 pescadores y sus familias los que perdieron su medio de sobrevivencia. Es necesario que las personas recuperen sus botes, motores y dem\u00e1s instrumentos necesarios para llevar a cabo su actividad.<br \/>\nAmCham apoya la campa\u00f1a <strong>Mar de Esperanza<\/strong>, iniciativa lanzada por\u00a0Arauco, University of Concepci\u00f3n, Radio Bio-Bio y Ferepa para ayudar a los pescadores concretamente de la regi\u00f3n del Bio-Bio.\u00a0El costo de cada equipo puede alcanzar los US$20.000, un costo que no est\u00e1 al alcance de la gran mayor\u00eda de estos pescadores artesanales.\u00a0Las\u00a0donaciones se pueden hacer directamente a Mar de Esperanza o a trav\u00e9s del programa de la <strong>Pan American Development Foudation (PADF).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--:en--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"mceItem\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.amchamchile.cl\/sites\/default\/files\/terremotochileflagman.jpg\" width=\"306\" height=\"194\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 8.8-magnitude earthquake and associated tsunami of February 27th, 2010 devasted a wide area of central Chile. The victims require not only emergency help, but also more long-term reconstruction assistance.<\/p>\n<p>AmCham Chile is committed to encourage private-sector reconstruction assistance that meets Chilean government-defined needs and requirements. We have been working with the Special Emergency and Reconstruction Office to obtain official and specific guidance on how to meet some of the most pressing needs, and to ensure that donations are directed as effectively as possible.<\/p>\n<p>In order to facilitate and expedite the donation process for those companies and individuals who wish assist those most affected by the earthquake and tsunami, AmCham Chile has selected two important focus areas, in coordination with renowned institutions.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/coaniquem.cl\" target=\"_blank\">Coaniquem Burned Children Fund<\/a> is focused on facilitanting their instalations and equipment for ambulatory surgery of patients that should have been treated in the F\u00e9lix Bulnes Hospital of Santiago, which was severly damaged. The hospital serves a large population of Chileans who do not have access to the private healthcare system. Coaniquem needs special equipment to meet these emergencies and thus to be able to help the public health system.
