El nuevo tratado tributario tambi\u00e9n permitir\u00eda reducciones en los impuestos de la fuente en el pago de dividendos, intereses y regal\u00edas; el total intercambio de informaci\u00f3n entre las autoridades tributarias de Estados Unidos y de Chile; y una amplia limitaci\u00f3n en la entrega de beneficios con el fin de evitar el abuso del tratado de doble tributaci\u00f3n por parte de inversionistas de terceros pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan se ha programado, el nuevo tratado de doble tributaci\u00f3n con Chile ser\u00e1 firmado por ambos pa\u00edses en febrero pr\u00f3ximo. Si el convenio es aprobado por el Senado de los Estados Unidos, el tratado con Chile ser\u00eda el segundo de este tipo que EE.UU. firma con un pa\u00eds sudamericano.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph\">Fuente: <a href=\"http:\/\/spanish.chile.usembassy.gov\/2010press0126sp-dobletributacion.html\" target=\"_blank\">Embajada De Los Estados Unidos Santiago, Chile.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--:en--><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"mceItem\" style=\"float: left; margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/sites\/default\/files\/double.jpg\" width=\"170\" height=\"113\" \/>WASHINGTON &#8211; Consistent with its efforts to expand the U.S. tax treaty network in South America, the U.S. Department of the Treasury announced today the conclusion of the negotiation of a comprehensive bilateral income tax treaty with Chile.<\/p>\n<p>The new tax treaty would provide certainty and stability of tax treatment for U.S. and Chilean cross-border investors.\u00a0 The new tax treaty also provides for reductions in source-country taxation of cross-border payments of dividends, interest, and royalties; the full exchange of information between the tax authorities of the United States and Chile; and a comprehensive limitation on benefits provision aimed at preventing the abuse of the tax treaty by third-country investors.<\/p>\n<p>The new tax treaty with Chile is scheduled to be signed by both countries in February.
