AmCham cuenta con cerca de\u00a0600 compa\u00f1\u00edas socias y\u00a0agrupa al 90% de la inversi\u00f3n de Estados Unidos en Chile.<\/p>\n<p>AmCham tuvo un rol muy importante en las negociaciones entre Chile y EEUU para lograr un acuerdo de libre comercio. A trav\u00e9s de su asociaci\u00f3n a la &#8220;American Association of Chambers of Commerce in Latin America (AACCLA)&#8221;, sirvi\u00f3 de v\u00ednculo entre el sector privado chileno y el estadounidense. En Estados Unidos form\u00f3 parte de una coalici\u00f3n integrada por la US Chamber, la National Association of Manufacturers, el Business Roundtable y el Council of the Americas, que tuvo por objetivo producir informaci\u00f3n para los congresistas respecto de las ventajas del TLC para el comercio de EEUU. Al mismo tiempo con la US Chamber particip\u00f3 activamente en el programa &#8220;Traderoots&#8221; que tuvo por finalidad darle a conocer a las compa\u00f1\u00edas medianas y peque\u00f1as en EEUU la ventaja que podr\u00eda significarles el TLC con Chile.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nLa C\u00e1mara\u00a0pone a disposici\u00f3n de sus asociados diversas opciones para informarse de oportunidades de negocios y de lo que acontece en el pa\u00eds y en EEUU en los \u00e1mbitos de sus intereses.\u00a0 Por medio de los comit\u00e9s,\u00a0seminarios y desayunos mensuales, se ofrecen programas para profundizar materias\u00a0 y obtener informaci\u00f3n valiosa para su trabajo y para su formaci\u00f3n profesional. Adem\u00e1s se disponen de otras instancias de tipo social destinadas a aumentar la red de contactos para los socios como los &#8220;business after hours&#8221;, eventos deportivos y misiones comerciales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nAmCham entrega a sus asociados asistencia pr\u00e1ctica para sus negocios,\u00a0desarrollando informaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica y dando asesoramiento en temas comerciales.
