It is engaged in the business of generating, transmitting and distributing electricity, and related activities in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile and Peru.&nbsp; Its controlling shareholder is ENDESA, S.A., a Spanish multinational company, which owns 60.6% of Enersis.&nbsp;
