Jaime Bazan is the CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in Chile since July 1997. \u00a0\u00a0Before and since 1975 he was an official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile, where he worked in political, economic, consular and administrative matters. \u00a0\u00a0He has been posted at the Embassy of Chile in the United States (1979-1983), at \u00a0the Chilean Mission to the United Nations (1987-1991) and in 1994 he was appointed as the General Consul of Chile in Puerto Rico (1994-1996).<\/span>
\nJaime Bazan is member of the Board and partner of Castillo Hidalgo S.A., Vice President of the Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America, AACCLA, and President of Fundacion Maria de la Luz Za\u00f1artu, a non profit organization who cares about homeless children.<\/span>
\nMr. Bazan is father of three. <\/span><\/p>\n

Anteriormente fue funcionario diplom\u00e1tico, ejerciendo funciones en las \u00e1reas pol\u00edtica, econ\u00f3mica, administrativa y consular del Ministerio.\u00a0 Estuvo destinado en la Embajada de Chile en Estados Unidos, en la Misi\u00f3n de Chile ante Naciones Unidas y termin\u00f3 su carrera diplom\u00e1tica como C\u00f3nsul General de Chile en Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n

Jaime Baz\u00e1n fue Director de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Funcionarios Diplom\u00e1ticos de Carrera (ADICA).\u00a0 En la actualidad es Director y socio de la empresa Castillo Hidalgo S.A. Vicepresidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Americana de C\u00e1maras de Comercio de Latino Am\u00e9rica (AACCLA) y Presidente de la Fundaci\u00f3n Mar\u00eda de la Luz Za\u00f1artu.<\/p>\n

Estudi\u00f3 Ciencias Economicas en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Ciencias Pol\u00edticas y Administrativas en la Universidad de Chile y Diplomacia en la Academia Diplom\u00e1tica de Chile.
