Oxley.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A la actividad asisti\u00f3 un selecto grupo de directores y directoras de empresas, quienes pudieron compartir con Oxley, ex congresista y presidente del comit\u00e9 de Servicios Financieros de la C\u00e1mara. Adem\u00e1s, \u00e9l es conocido por su co-autor\u00eda de la ley Sarbanes-Oxley de 2002, la que reestableci\u00f3 la confianza de los estadounidenses en los mercados de capitales a principios de la d\u00e9cada, y cre\u00f3 una nueva junta de supervisi\u00f3n de contabilidad para las empresas que cotizan en bolsa.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--:en--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AmCham Vice President Sandra Guazzotti, and KPMG partner in Chile, Teresa Oliva, who are both members of the Chilean branch of Women Corporate Directors (WCD), held a lunch meeting with the corporate governance expert Michael G. Oxley.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A select group of business directors took part and were able to share with Oxley, an ex-Congressman and President of the US House Committee on Financial Services. He is also known for his co-authorship of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
