Isabel Vald\u00e9s y Francisco Silva fueron seleccionados como vicepresidentes en representaci\u00f3n de Chile y California, respectivamente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jarvis es profesor de Econom\u00eda Agr\u00edcola y de Recursos de la University of California, Davis, en la que tambi\u00e9n es asistente especial del decano de la Facultad de Ciencias Agr\u00edcolas y Ambientales; director del Centro Richard Blum para Econom\u00edas en Desarrollo en la UC Davis, y director de la facultad del Programa de Asociaci\u00f3n UC Davis &#8211; Chile, que inici\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 2008 . Jarvis tiene un doctorado en econom\u00eda del MIT.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEspero promover el di\u00e1logo y el debate sobre una amplia gama de temas que son importantes para Chile y California. He replaced Agust\u00edn Huneeus, who had chaired the Council since its creation in 2011. Isabel Vald\u00e9s and Francisco Silva were selected as Vice Chairs for Chile and California, respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>Jarvis is professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis, where he is also Special Assistant to the Dean, College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; Director of the Richard Blum Center for Developing Economics; and Faculty Director of the UC Davis-Chile Partnership Program, which he initiated in 2008.
