El 13 y 14 de noviembre, Dale Carnegie -empresa dedicada al coaching de negocios- imparti\u00f3 un curso denominado \u201cPresentaciones de Alto Impacto\u201d, el que se realiz\u00f3 por primera vez en las oficinas de AmCham. Felipe Denegri y Gabriel Gajardo de Dale Carnegie dictaron el curso, el que apuntaba a entregar herramientas para hacer presentaciones que tengan un impacto positivo y que comuniquen las ideas con claridad y fuerza.<\/p>\n
Durante dos sesiones de ocho horas cada una, los 11 socios de AmCham que se inscribieron en el curso realizaron presentaciones grabadas y evaluadas al final de cada jornada. Pilar Garc\u00eda-Huidobro, coordinadora de comit\u00e9s de AmCham, particip\u00f3 en el taller y coment\u00f3: \u201cMucho nos recalcaron que una presentaci\u00f3n debe sustentarse por el presentador mismo, no por la presentaci\u00f3n que lo acompa\u00f1a (\u2026) y nos dieron t\u00e9cnicas para cautivar a la audiencia, por ejemplo hablar con convicci\u00f3n y motivaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n

On November 13-14, management training firm Dale Carnegie offered a course on High-Impact Presentations, which was held for the first time in the offices of AmCham. Dale Carnegie\u2019s Felipe Denegri and Gabriel Gajardo taught the course, which aimed to provide participants with tools to give presentations that have a positive impact and communicate ideas clearly and forcefully.<\/p>\n
During two eight-hour sessions, the 11 AmCham members who enrolled in the course gave presentations that were recorded and evaluated at the end of each day. Pilar Garc\u00eda-Huidobro, AmCham’s coordinator of committees, participated in the workshop and commented: “They stressed that the success of a presentation depends on the presenter, not the PowerPoint that goes with it, and they showed us techniques to hold the audience\u2019s attention, for example by speaking with conviction and motivation.\u201d<\/p>\n
