La ceremonia de inauguraci\u00f3n cont\u00f3 con la presencia de la primera dama de la naci\u00f3n, Cecilia Morel, y del ministro de Econom\u00eda, Pablo Longueira, entre otras autoridades. El proyecto es parte del mayor plan de inversiones de Carozzi en sus 114 a\u00f1os de vida, el que suma un total de US$350 millones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-align: justify;\">El presidente de Carozzi, Gonzalo Bofill, dijo sentirse orgulloso por este importante hito que permitir\u00e1 a la empresa satisfacer el crecimiento proyectado de la demanda en los pr\u00f3ximos 20 a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--:en--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Last November, two years on since a huge fire devastated Carozzi\u2019s pasta production plant, the company inaugurated Chile\u2019s largest food processing complex, including two new pasta plants, a breakfast cereal plant, a cookie plant, a Civic Center, a sports center and an expanded distribution center.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The complex, which covers 130 hectares in the area of San Bernardo on the outskirts of Santiago, employs close to 4,000 people. The opening ceremony was attended by Chile\u2019s First Lady, Cecilia Morel, and the Minister of Economy, Pablo Longueira, among other dignitaries.
