Su mercado ser\u00e1 la miner\u00eda y la industria de la construcci\u00f3n de Chile y todo Centro y Sudam\u00e9rica\u201d, indic\u00f3 Claro de Elecmetal.<\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--:en--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Jaime Claro, Elecmetal; Hern\u00e1n de Solminihac, Mining Minister; Cal Collins, ESCO Corporation; Rolando Medeiros, ESCO Elecmetal Fundici\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In May, ESCO Elecmetal, a strategic alliance between local ferrous foundry group ME Elecmetal and US engineering products firm ESCO Corporation, opened a new US$100 million manufacturing plant in Colina that will produce components for the mining and construction industries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The opening ceremony was led by Mining Minister, Hern\u00e1n Solminihac, and was attended by top executives including Cal Collins, president and CEO of ESCO Corporation; Jaime Claro, president of Elecmetal, and Rolando Medeiros, president of ESCO Elecmetal Foundry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Our joint venture will initially produce 12,000 tonnes of steel castings.
