su director ejecutivo, Rodrigo Ballivi\u00e1n; y el ex director ejecutivo de la C\u00e1mara Jaime Baz\u00e1n se reunieron a comienzos de marzo con el embajador de Estados Unidos en Chile, Alejandro Wolff, en la embajada estadounidense para analizar los avances en \u00e1reas clave de cooperaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los temas tratados incluyeron la conferencia Global Business Conference celebrada por el Departamento de Estado de Estados Unidos en Washington, DC en febrero, a la que asisti\u00f3 Irarr\u00e1zaval, adem\u00e1s de una propuesta enmienda a la ley de propiedad intelectual de Chile, que proteger\u00eda de mejor manera a las patentes farmac\u00e9uticas estadounidenses.<\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--:en--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AmCham\u2019s President Javier Irarr\u00e1zaval, Executive Director Rodrigo Ballivi\u00e1n, and former Executive Director Jaime Baz\u00e1n, met with US Ambassador Alejandro Wolff at the US Embassy in early March to discuss progress in key areas of cooperation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Topics included the Global Business Conference hosted by the US State Department in Washington, DC in February, which was attended by Irarr\u00e1zaval, as well as a proposed amendment to Chile\u2019s Industrial Property Law that would better protect US pharmaceutical patents.<\/p>\n<p><!--:--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><!--:es--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El presidente de AmCham, Javier Irarr\u00e1zaval;
