Adem\u00e1s tomaron la palabra el ministro de Energ\u00eda Rodrigo \u00c1lvarez y el embajador de Estados Unidos Alejandro Wolf. Bajo el conocimiento y apoyo de los Presidentes Sebasti\u00e1n Pi\u00f1era y Barack Obama,&nbsp; esta asociaci\u00f3n estar\u00e1 focalizada en el desarrollo de infraestructuras limpias,&nbsp; identificar oportunidades comerciales y de inversiones entre Estados Unidos y Chile,&nbsp; promover proyectos comerciales viables en energ\u00edas limpias y en eficiencia energ\u00e9tica y apoyar el desarrollo sustentable del sector. El objetivo es aprovechar todos los recursos para obtener capacitaci\u00f3n, financiamiento de proyectos, conocer experiencias sobre regulaciones, tecnolog\u00eda&nbsp; y sobre la experiencia en materia de eficiencia energ\u00e9tica que tienen los diferentes estados.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Informaci\u00f3n de contacto: <a href=\"mailto:nora.balzarotti@amchamchile.cl\">nora.balzarotti@amchamchile.cl<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--:en--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On October 6, AmCham members gathered at the W Hotel in Santiago for the official launch of the US-Chile Energy Business Council, which is chaired by AmCham Chile President Javier Irarr\u00e1zaval. Energy Minister Rodrigo \u00c1lvarez and the US Ambassador to Chile, Alejandro Wolff, also spoke at the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The council, which was announced by Chile\u2019s President Sebasti\u00e1n Pi\u00f1era and US President Barack Obama in March, will focus on developing clean energy infrastructure, identifying trade and investment opportunities, promoting clean energy and energy efficiency projects and supporting the sustainable development of the sector.
