El acuerdo forma parte de un convenio m\u00e1s amplio entre Chile y el MIT encabezado por el Ministerio de Econom\u00eda.<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: justify\">\u201cEl primer lugar de Am\u00e9rica Latina obtenido por nuestra Escuela en el Ranking 2011, no se explicar\u00eda si no hubi\u00e9semos hecho progresos muy importantes en el \u00e1mbito de la investigaci\u00f3n. Si a esto se agrega nuestro compromiso por contribuir de manera relevante al avance del conocimiento aplicado en nuestra sociedad es f\u00e1cil imaginar por qu\u00e9 nos resulta tan importante un convenio con uno de los Centros m\u00e1s avanzados y de m\u00e1s alta reputaci\u00f3n del mundo\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el decano de la Escuela de Negocios de la Universidad Adolfo Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez, Alfonso G\u00f3mez.<\/P><!--:--><!--:en--><P style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: justify\">Chile\u2019s Adolfo Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have signed an agreement as part of MIT\u2019s International Science and Technology Initiative that will allow academics to work on joint projects.<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: justify\">MIT has signed 12 such agreements worldwide including two in Latin America with Brazil and Mexico.
