Anglo American ha construido seis escuelas modulares en Chile que beneficiar\u00e1n a 4.500 alumnos como parte de la donaci\u00f3n de US$10 millones que la empresa anunci\u00f3 pocos d\u00edas despu\u00e9s del terremoto.<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: justify\">La construcci\u00f3n de la escuela reafirma \u201cnuestro compromiso con la reconstrucci\u00f3n y la educaci\u00f3n del pa\u00eds\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el presidente ejecutivo de Anglo American en Chile, Miguel \u00c1ngel Dur\u00e1n, en una ceremonia a la que asisti\u00f3 el ministro de Educaci\u00f3n, Joaqu\u00edn Lav\u00edn, entre otros funcionarios de de Gobierno y ejecutivos de la compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/P><!--:--><!--:en--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mining firm Anglo American has opened Chile\u2019s biggest modular school in the 8th Region devastated by February\u2019s earthquake. The school, in the city of Yungay, covers over 2,700 square meters and has room for 2,000 students from pre-school through 12th grade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The school includes 34 classrooms and comes furnished with computers, school supplies and teaching equipment.
