General Motors Chile ha anunciado un convenio a trav\u00e9s del cual, DuocUC, uno de los principales institutos profesionales de Chile, prestar\u00e1 servicios de capacitaci\u00f3n para toda la red de distribuci\u00f3n Chevrolet de la empresa. Durante el primer a\u00f1o, DuocUC impartir\u00e1 unos 130 cursos dirigidos al personal ejecutivo y t\u00e9cnico, en 50 puntos de venta y post venta de Chevrolet en todo Chile. Los cursos tratar\u00e1n de temas tales como t\u00e9cnicas de marketing, calidad de servicios y uso de nuevas tecnolog\u00edas, y ser\u00e1n impartidos por la Escuelas de Ingenier\u00eda y de Administraci\u00f3n y Negocios de DuocUC, como parte de sus programas de Educaci\u00f3n Continua. <\/p>\n

Premio Empresarial a Controladores de Compa\u00f1\u00eda Naviera <\/p>\n
La Escuela de Negocios de la Universidad de los Andes de Santiago, en conjunto con la empresa de servicios financieros Credit Suisse y el Diario Financiero, han otorgado su Premio ESE a la Familia Empresaria 2006 a Sven y Wolf von Appen, dentro de cuyos intereses se encuentra el grupo naviero Ultramar.
\n\u201cLos von Appen son una familia empresaria consolidada en nuestro pa\u00eds, con una historia que cuenta con m\u00e1s de 50 a\u00f1os\u201d, dijo Alberto L\u00f3pez-Hermida, director de la Escuela de Negocios. Actualmente, los intereses comerciales de la familia son administrados por Dag y Richard von Appen, hijos de Sven y Wolf respectivamente, y nietos del fundador del grupo, Albert von Appen, quien naci\u00f3 en Alemania y se estableci\u00f3 en Chile hacia fines de la d\u00e9cada de 1930.

General Motors Chile has announced an agreement under which DuocUC, a leading Chilean professional institute, will provide training services for all the company\u2019s Chevrolet distribution network. During the first year of the agreement, DuocUC will teach some 130 courses for the executives and technical staff of over 50 Chevrolet sales and post-sales centers throughout Chile on topics that include marketing techniques, service quality and the use of new technologies. The courses will be given by DuocUC\u2019s Engineering School and Administration and Business School as part of its Continuous Education programs. <\/p>\n

The Business School of Santiago\u2019s Universidad de Los Andes, together with the Credit Suisse financial services company and the El Diario newspaper, recently awarded its 2006 Business Family of the Year Prize to Sven and Wolf von Appen, whose interests include the Ultramar shipping group. <\/p>\n
\u201cThe von Appens are a consolidated business family in our country, with a track record that goes back more than 50 years,\u201d said Alberto L\u00f3pez-Hermida, director of the Business School.
