In Santiago, the delegation met with representatives of AmCham, Chile\u2019s Manufacturers\u2019 Association (SOFOFA), the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CCS) and Chile\u2019s Association of Manufacturing Exporters (ASEXMA). In the meeting, AmCham president Michael Grasty drew attention to the importance of English competency and pointed out the advantages for Chilean firms of using Miami as a base from which to expand into the vast U.S. market.
