{"id":33003,"date":"2022-09-28T12:00:46","date_gmt":"2022-09-28T16:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amchamchile.cl\/?post_type=news&#038;p=33003"},"modified":"2022-09-29T17:01:34","modified_gmt":"2022-09-29T21:01:34","slug":"el-interes-por-el-indice-de-igualdad-de-genero-de-bloomberg-aumenta-en-todo-el-mundo","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/amchamchile.cl\/en\/noticia\/el-interes-por-el-indice-de-igualdad-de-genero-de-bloomberg-aumenta-en-todo-el-mundo\/","title":{"rendered":"El inter\u00e9s por el \u00cdndice de Igualdad de G\u00e9nero de Bloomberg aumenta en todo el mundo"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>Las empresas se apresuran a participar antes del 30 de septiembre.<\/h5>\n<p>El n\u00famero y la diversidad de las empresas que han solicitado su inclusi\u00f3n en el <strong>Gender-Equality Index (GEI) <\/strong>de <strong>Bloomberg de 2023 <\/strong>ha aumentado considerablemente antes de la fecha l\u00edmite del 30 de septiembre, seg\u00fan ha anunciado hoy Bloomberg.<\/p>\n<p>Las empresas que cotizan en bolsa participan voluntariamente en el GEI, el cual analiza el rendimiento de sus pol\u00edticas de diversidad e igualdad en comparaci\u00f3n con sus competidoras. La lista del GEI de 2022 incluy\u00f3 418 empresas de 11 sectores diferentes en 45 pa\u00edses. Este a\u00f1o, Bloomberg est\u00e1 observando un aumento de los participantes y de la cantidad de detalles que se divulgan con respecto al a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n<p>Los datos del GEI muestran hasta ahora:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>El n\u00famero de cuentas registradas ha aumentado un 40% en <strong>Estados Unidos<\/strong>, un 39% en <strong>Europa, Medio Oriente y \u00c1frica<\/strong>, un 18% en <strong>Asia-Pac\u00edfico<\/strong> y un 3% en\u00a0<strong>Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Entre los nuevos pa\u00edses participantes se encuentran <strong>Colombia, Per\u00fa, Uruguay<\/strong> y Pakist\u00e1n<\/li>\n<li>Aunque las empresas financieras han liderado tradicionalmente la lista, ahora participan empresas de los sectores aeroespacial, farmac\u00e9utico y tecnol\u00f3gico<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cNos complace ver que muchas m\u00e1s empresas utilizan el GEI para identificar y reforzar sus pol\u00edticas en materia de equidad y paridad salarial entre hombres y mujeres\u201d, dijo <strong>Patricia Torres<\/strong>, <strong>Global Head of Sustainable Finance Solutions<\/strong> en <strong>Bloomberg<\/strong>. \u201cEsta transparencia ayuda a las empresas a atraer a los empleados y ofrece a los inversionistas los datos que necesitan para la toma decisiones\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El GEI eval\u00faa a las empresas en cinco pilares clave:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Liderazgo y recursos de talento<\/li>\n<li>Equidad y paridad salarial entre hombres y mujeres<\/li>\n<li>Cultura inclusiva<\/li>\n<li>Pol\u00edticas contra el acoso sexual<\/li>\n<li>Marca externa<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Para la evaluaci\u00f3n de 2023, las empresas pidieron a Bloomberg que a\u00f1adiera otras dos \u00e1reas de exploraci\u00f3n: LGBTQ+ &amp; raza y etnia. La divulgaci\u00f3n de estos datos comenzar\u00e1 en los mercados de EE. UU. y Reino Unido, aunque estas preguntas ser\u00e1n opcionales y no se puntuar\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>Las empresas participan voluntariamente y sin costo alguno a trav\u00e9s del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/gei\">sitio web del GEI de Bloomberg<\/a>. La fecha l\u00edmite para la presentaci\u00f3n del GEI 2023 es el 30 de septiembre de 2022. Una vez sometidos los datos, el equipo del GEI de Bloomberg los analiza y proporciona a la empresa una tarjeta de puntuaci\u00f3n basada en una metodolog\u00eda desarrollada. El equipo revisa los resultados con las empresas, para que sepan c\u00f3mo han sido puntuadas y por qu\u00e9 antes del anuncio de los resultados del GEI en enero de 2023.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLas empresas tambi\u00e9n pueden utilizar el GEI como una hoja de trabajo interna\u201d, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 Torres. \u201cPueden entrar en l\u00ednea, sin obligaci\u00f3n, y ver lo que implica la metodolog\u00eda.
