La C\u00e1mara Chilena Norteamericana de Comercio realiz\u00f3 el mi\u00e9rcoles 27 de noviembre la ceremonia de cierre de la segunda versi\u00f3n del C\u00edrculo de Mentor\u00eda en Diversidad e Inclusi\u00f3n, espacio donde nueve empresas socias de AmCham Chile que cuentan con experiencia y casos de \u00e9xito en materia de diversidad e inclusi\u00f3n, ense\u00f1aron y ayudaron a desarrollar al m\u00e1ximo las cualidades y potencialidades de otras 45 empresas socias de la C\u00e1mara en esta tem\u00e1tica.<\/span><\/p>\n

La ceremonia de clausura y premiaci\u00f3n de las empresas mentoras y mentorizadas cont\u00f3 con la presencia del Subsecretario del Trabajo, Fernando Arab, adem\u00e1s de Tatiana Molina, Gerenta General de AmCham Chile, Asise Fernandez y Gonzalo Gebara, Chairs del Comit\u00e9 de Mercado Laboral del Futuro de AmCham.<\/span><\/p>\n

En su intervenci\u00f3n, la Gerenta General de AmCham Chile, Tatiana Molina, habl\u00f3 de la importancia de adaptarse a los cambios en materia laboral. \u201cHoy estamos experimentando nuevas transformaciones sociales que est\u00e1n modificando el mercado laboral y delineando el trabajo del futuro. Como C\u00e1mara tenemos un activo muy importante en las pol\u00edticas de diversidad e inclusi\u00f3n que est\u00e1n llevando a cabo nuestras empresas socias y cuyas buenas pr\u00e1cticas podemos ayudar a masificar\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fernando Arab, Subsecretario del Trabajo, coment\u00f3 que \u201ccumplir con la ley de inclusi\u00f3n va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la caridad, significa otorgar igualdad de derechos y la misma dignidad para todas las personas\u201d. Arab tambi\u00e9n se refiri\u00f3 a medidas como la adaptabilidad y la flexibilidad laboral y su efecto positivo para las familias. \u201cNecesitamos que el trabajo se adapte a la vida. Es importante avanzar en esta pol\u00edtica. Hoy est\u00e1 en discusi\u00f3n el proyecto de reducci\u00f3n de jornada a 40 horas\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\n

El evento cont\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n con dos testimonios de diversidad e inclusi\u00f3n al interior de las empresas: Alessia Injoque, Directora Ejecutiva de Fundaci\u00f3n Iguales y Katty Pinheiro Mujica, profesional migrante de Aramark Chile quien se refiri\u00f3 los principales desaf\u00edos de la inserci\u00f3n laboral en Chile.<\/span><\/p>\n

Por su parte Asise Fernandez, Co Chair del Comit\u00e9 de Mercado Laboral del Futuro de AmCham, explic\u00f3 que \u201clo que buscamos fue transferir mejores pr\u00e1cticas desde empresas socias con expertise a quienes buscaron implementar, desarrollar o mejorar un programa en esta materia y creemos que con este intercambio, tanto mentores como mentorizados pudieron aprender e interiorizar nuevos conocimientos que ir\u00e1n en beneficio de nuestra fuerza laboral\u201d, declar\u00f3. Adem\u00e1s, anunci\u00f3 que durante 2020 se realizar\u00e1 una tercera versi\u00f3n del C\u00edrculo para seguir fomentando estas buenas pr\u00e1cticas entre los socios de AmCham.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mentorizaci\u00f3n a empresas socias<\/strong><\/p>\n

Las empresas mentoras que participaron en la segunda versi\u00f3n del C\u00edrculo de Mentor\u00edas de AmCham fueron Deloitte, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, JP Morgan, Kimberly Clark, McCann Worldgroup, McDonald\u00b4s, P&G y Walmart Chile.<\/span><\/p>\n

En tanto, entre las empresas mentorizadas se encuentran Becton Dickinson, Codelco, Siemens, General Motors Chile, Oracle, Metlife, Roche, Sky Airlines, Pepsico, Universidad Mayor, Colb\u00fan, Freeport McMoran, DHL Global Forwarding, Falabella, BlackRock, Empresas Banm\u00e9dica (UHG), Everis y American Airlines, entre otras.<\/span><\/p>\n

El programa se realiz\u00f3 durante el segundo semestre de 2019 en las instalaciones de cada empresa mentora, con el fin de ayudar a las mentorizadas a conseguir sus objetivos mediante conversaciones y acciones de aprendizaje. En esta instancia, el mentor ejerci\u00f3 como consejero, fuente de inspiraci\u00f3n y motivaci\u00f3n, mientras que el mentorizado fue el encargado de absorber la informaci\u00f3n proporcionada a trav\u00e9s de esta interacci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n
