EE.UU.<\/h2>\r\n<!--more-->\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nHasta el 11 de marzo est\u00e1 abierto el proceso de postulaci\u00f3n est\u00e1n las postulaciones para el\u00a0<strong>programa Fondo Oportunidad 2022<\/strong>\u00a0de<strong>\u00a0<em>EducationUSA<\/em>\u00a0en Chile.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nEste fondo est\u00e1 dirigido a estudiantes que est\u00e9n cursando cuarto a\u00f1o de ense\u00f1anza media en 2022, tengan un nivel avanzado de ingl\u00e9s e inter\u00e9s en realizar estudios de pregrado universitario en Estados Unidos, pero que necesitan ayuda financiera para cubrir los gastos\u00a0iniciales del proceso de postulaci\u00f3n, las pruebas estandarizadas de ingl\u00e9s y conocimientos, y los costos de admisi\u00f3n respectivos.\r\n\r\nLos estudiantes son\u00a0<strong>seleccionados en base a su rendimiento acad\u00e9mico, participaci\u00f3n en actividades extracurriculares, y limitada solvencia econ\u00f3mica familiar,<\/strong>\u00a0recibiendo la asesor\u00eda de<em>\u00a0EducationUSA<\/em>\u00a0durante todo el proceso de postulaci\u00f3n.\r\n\r\n<strong>Desde 2013, el programa ha beneficiado a treinta estudiantes\u00a0chilenos de liceos p\u00fablicos y colegios subvencionados,<\/strong>\u00a0quienes postularon exitosamente para recibir becas completas otorgadas por universidades tales como MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Yale, Smith College, Pomona College, Brandeis University, UPenn, Amherst College, Carleton College, Connecticut College, West Virginia University, Wellesley College, Oberlin College, Dickinson College, Bowdoin College, Colorado School of Mines, Mount Holyoke College y Bennington College.\r\n\r\nLos\u00a0<strong>requisitos<\/strong>\u00a0para postular al programa Fondos Oportunidad son:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Cursar 4\u00b0 medio en 2022<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Demostrar limitada solvencia econ\u00f3mica del grupo familiar*<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Tener promedio acad\u00e9mico superior a 6,2<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Poseer un nivel avanzado de ingl\u00e9s, tanto escrito como hablado<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Haber realizado actividades extracurriculares o de servicio comunitario destacadas durante los a\u00f1os de ense\u00f1anza media<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Demostrar inter\u00e9s en completar una carrera de pregrado completa (4 a\u00f1os) en EE.UU.**<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Poder mantener un compromiso con el programa de 10 o m\u00e1s horas semanales<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ser ciudadano chileno o residente permanente de Chile, y residir actualmente en Chile***<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Contar con la autorizaci\u00f3n de los padres o tutor legal para participar en el programa<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n* Estudiantes que no cuentan con medios para pagar el proceso de postulaci\u00f3n sin la ayuda de EducationUSA.\r\n\r\n** Los postulantes interesados en medicina, veterinaria, odontolog\u00eda y derecho no ser\u00e1n considerados por ser carreras profesionales que se estudian como magister en Estados Unidos.\r\n\r\n*** Los postulantes con doble ciudadan\u00eda de EE.UU. no ser\u00e1n considerados.\r\n\r\n<strong><em>EducationUSA\u00a0<\/em>es una red de 430 centros de asesor\u00eda acad\u00e9mica en 178 pa\u00edses del mundo.<\/strong>\u00a0Su misi\u00f3n es entregar informaci\u00f3n imparcial, completa y actualizada sobre los programas acad\u00e9micos ofrecidos por todas las instituciones de educaci\u00f3n superior
