Durante la ma\u00f1ana de este martes, la C\u00e1mara Chilena Norteamericana de Comercio, AmCham Chile,<\/strong> llev\u00f3 a cabo el conversatorio \u201cImpacto del comercio ilegal en la econom\u00eda: Percepciones sociales y mejores pr\u00e1cticas para implementar\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>La instancia cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de Jose\u0301 Ignacio Palma<\/strong>, Director del Servicio Nacional de Aduanas y los speakers: Catalina Achermann<\/strong> y Constanza Atlagich<\/strong> de DIRECTV, y Sebasti\u00e1n Osorio<\/strong>, Market Integrity Manager en British American Tobacco Chile, quienes analizaron el aumento exponencial del comercio de productos y servicios falsificados y pirateados en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, y c\u00f3mo esto impacta en la econom\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>\n

Guillermo Carey<\/strong>, past president de AmCham Chile, dio inicio a la jornada con palabras de bienvenida a los invitados y speakers, destacando la importancia de dialogar y concientizar sobre comercio ilegal y pirater\u00eda, algo que impacta no solo en la capacidad de innovar, sino que tambi\u00e9n en la econom\u00eda.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En la jornada, Jose\u0301 Ignacio Palma, Director del Servicio Nacional de Aduanas (SNA), se refiri\u00f3 al rol de Aduanas en la protecci\u00f3n de derechos marcarios, las tecnolog\u00edas e inteligencia que aplican en las fiscalizaciones, la importancia de la protecci\u00f3n de la Propiedad Intelectual y la normativa aplicada. Adem\u00e1s, entreg\u00f3 ejemplos de casos destacados, como productos cosm\u00e9ticos y medicamentos, y las acciones que se est\u00e1n haciendo para mejorar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Desde la visi\u00f3n del mundo privado estuvieron presentes como speakers Catalina Achermann, External and Regulatory Affairs DIRECTV, y Constanza Atlagich, Especialista de Contenidos y Relaciones Institucionales de DIRECTV, quienes expusieron sobre los efectos que tiene la pirater\u00eda de contenidos en su compa\u00f1\u00eda y el pa\u00eds, adem\u00e1s de presentar cifras de comportamiento de la ciudadan\u00eda respecto a este tema.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mediante la exposici\u00f3n del estudio \u201cPr\u00e1ctica, motivaciones y percepciones sobre la pirater\u00eda de contenidos en Chile\u201d, las expertas destacaron que 6 de cada 10 personas tuvieron acceso a contenido pirata en 2019, que la presencia de ese tipo de contenidos en grupos socioecon\u00f3micos se da de manera homog\u00e9nea, el poco conocimiento de la ciudadan\u00eda acerca de la ilegalidad de estos productos y las p\u00e9rdidas que tiene para la industria estas pr\u00e1cticas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Por otro lado, Sebasti\u00e1n Osorio,<\/strong> Market Integrity Manager en British American Tobacco Chile destac\u00f3 la importancia de habla sobre estos temas, exponiendo la situaci\u00f3n que vive el pa\u00eds respecto al comercio ilegal de estos productos y c\u00f3mo le afecta a la industria.<\/span><\/p>\n

Osorio present\u00f3 un estudio conjunto con la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica, el cual mostr\u00f3 que en Chile 21,4% de los cigarrillos son de contrabando, algo que genera una evasi\u00f3n fiscal de 500 millones de d\u00f3lares todos los a\u00f1os. Adem\u00e1s, se\u00f1al\u00f3 como ejemplo de \u201ccondiciones perfectas\u201d para las organizaciones internacionales de crimen organizado para cometer estos delitos, la inflaci\u00f3n de precios a los cigarrillos tras las alzas de impuestos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Por \u00faltimo, desde la autoridad y las empresas realizaron sus conclusiones respecto al escenario actual y lo que viene para el futuro en torno al tema, concordando en la importancia de fortalecer las normas y leyes respecto al comercio il\u00edcito y pirater\u00eda.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
