{"id":2659,"date":"2020-10-13T12:28:59","date_gmt":"2020-10-13T15:28:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amcham.dmeat.cl\/?post_type=news&#038;p=2659"},"modified":"2021-12-30T16:47:00","modified_gmt":"2021-12-30T19:47:00","slug":"amcham-chile-edita-libro-que-conmemora-los-15-anos-de-la-firma-del-tlc-con-ee-uu","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/amchamchile.cl\/en\/noticia\/amcham-chile-edita-libro-que-conmemora-los-15-anos-de-la-firma-del-tlc-con-ee-uu\/","title":{"rendered":"Amcham Chile edita libro que conmemora los 15 a\u00f1os de la firma del TLC con EE.UU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>En el evento particip\u00f3 el expresidente Ricardo Lagos y el canciller Andr\u00e9s Allamand.<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con motivo de la conmemoraci\u00f3n de los 15 a\u00f1os desde la entrada en vigencia del Tratado de Libre Comercio (TLC) entre Chile y Estados Unidos, AmCham Chile edit\u00f3 un libro que recopila todos los detalles que definieron una de las negociaciones m\u00e1s desafiantes y beneficiosas de la diplomacia comercial del pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bajo el t\u00edtulo \u201cTratado de Libre Comercio Chile y Estados Unidos: Reflejo de una relaci\u00f3n que trasciende lo econ\u00f3mico\u201d, la publicaci\u00f3n que puedes descargar <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/amchamtlc\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">aqu\u00ed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, logra reconstruir la historia de las negociaciones y firma del acuerdo, a trav\u00e9s del relato de sus protagonistas; y resume los principales resultados y beneficios obtenidos a nivel econ\u00f3mico, pol\u00edtico y comercial por ambos pa\u00edses.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cEste libro es el relato de una alianza improbable, pero fundamentalmente el de personas extraordinarias e instituciones imprescindibles que le torcieron la mano a todos los pron\u00f3sticos.\u00a0 Y si tenemos que definir una lecci\u00f3n que dejan estos quince a\u00f1os de vigencia, es la importancia del di\u00e1logo y la colaboraci\u00f3n para potenciar los puntos en com\u00fan, as\u00ed como fijar un norte claro\u201d, dijo Sandra Guazzotti, presidenta de AmCham Chile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El lanzamiento tuvo lugar hoy de manera virtual y cont\u00f3 con las exposiciones del ex Presidente Ricardo Lagos Escobar y el Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Chile, Andr\u00e9s Allamand, quienes hicieron un repaso por este hist\u00f3rico hito y tambi\u00e9n los nuevos desaf\u00edos que enfrentan ambos pa\u00edses hacia el futuro, en materia de relaciones bilaterales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al mirar la trayectoria hist\u00f3rica de Chile y EE.UU. se advierte inmediatamente una triple afinidad: la importancia asignada a la democracia y al respeto de los derechos humanos como el umbral civilizatorio b\u00e1sico; la relevancia atribuida a un orden internacional basado en el derecho internacional, el bilateralismo y la libertad de comercio; y la certeza confiada a que las sociedades que se apoyan en el emprendimiento, la igualdad de oportunidades y la valorizaci\u00f3n del m\u00e9rito son las que generan progreso y dejan atr\u00e1s la pobreza\u201d, asegur\u00f3 en el evento el Canciller Andr\u00e9s Allamand.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cM\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las negociaciones, este libro es capaz de demostrar lo que ocurri\u00f3 en los 15 a\u00f1os siguientes. El gran valor de este acuerdo reside en su capacidad de enriquecimiento. Es un documento vivo, din\u00e1mico.
