Este mi\u00e9rcoles, AmCham Chile llev\u00f3 a cabo su cuarta y \u00faltima sesi\u00f3n del encuentro SelectUSA \u201cInvestment & Business Opportunities\u201d, con el objetivo de dar a conocer los beneficios del estado de Texas para hacer negocios e invertir.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La jornada cont\u00f3 con las exposiciones de Dinah McDougall,<\/strong> Consejera Comercial de la Embajada de Estados Unidos en Chile; Ethel Glen,<\/strong> International Trade Specialist, SelectUSA U.S. Department of Commerce; y Shirley Temple<\/strong>, International Business & Trade, Texas Governor\u2019s Office of Economic Development and Tourism.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En la oportunidad, se dieron a conocer los programas que existen en Estados Unidos para ayudar a las compa\u00f1\u00edas internacionales a realizar inversiones en el estado de Texas<\/strong> y se nombraron los diferentes beneficios que tiene esta regi\u00f3n para los negocios. Algunos de estos fueron: su infraestructura robusta, un costo de vida asequible, una ubicaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica favorable debido al f\u00e1cil acceso de los mercados nacionales y globales y sus m\u00faltiples v\u00edas de acceso mar\u00edtimo, terrestre y a\u00e9reo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Adicionalmente, Shirley Temple International Business & Trade, Texas Governor\u2019s Office of Economic Development and Tourism, enfatiz\u00f3 en que, debido a su variedad de universidades y establecimientos escolares, el estado cuenta con una fuerza laboral muy diversa y preparada para las compa\u00f1\u00edas y dio a conocer que Texas \u201ces el estado exportador m\u00e1s importante de la naci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finalmente, los m\u00e1s de 20 socios participantes en la jornada compartieron dudas sobre tarifas, impuestos, exportaciones, qu\u00e9 tipo de visa se deben solicitar y los pasos que se deben seguir para instalar una empresa en la regi\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

El programa SelectUSA se llev\u00f3 a cabo durante el mes de noviembre y la primera semana de diciembre de manera conjunta con la Embajada de Estados Unidos en Chile y el U.S Commercial Service, con el objetivo de compartir con los socios las ventajas en inversi\u00f3n y negocios que ofrecen los estados de Florida, California, Nueva York y Texas.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
