{"id":2424,"date":"2021-02-17T17:51:48","date_gmt":"2021-02-17T20:51:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amcham.dmeat.cl\/?post_type=news&#038;p=2424"},"modified":"2021-12-30T16:48:40","modified_gmt":"2021-12-30T19:48:40","slug":"michelin-invertira-us30-millones-en-planta-de-reciclaje-de-neumaticos","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/amchamchile.cl\/en\/noticia\/michelin-invertira-us30-millones-en-planta-de-reciclaje-de-neumaticos\/","title":{"rendered":"Michelin invertir\u00e1 US$30 millones en planta de reciclaje de neum\u00e1ticos"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La in\u00e9dita iniciativa tendr\u00e1 lugar en Antofagasta.<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tras 40 a\u00f1os de presencia en Chile, la empresa socia de AmCham especializada en la fabricaci\u00f3n de neum\u00e1ticos, <strong>Michelin<\/strong>, anunci\u00f3 <strong>la creaci\u00f3n de una planta de reciclaje de neum\u00e1ticos en Antofagasta,<\/strong> que ser\u00e1 su mayor inversi\u00f3n en el pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Seg\u00fan constata Pulso, el proyecto que costar\u00e1 US$30 millones iniciar\u00e1 su construcci\u00f3n a fines de este a\u00f1o, demandando cerca de mil empleos en su primera etapa. En tanto, se espera que su puesta en marcha est\u00e9 para inicios del 2023, ofreciendo otros 100 puestos de trabajo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\"><strong>La iniciativa permitir\u00e1 reciclar 30 mil toneladas de neum\u00e1ticos<\/strong>, cifra que excede el n\u00famero total que la compa\u00f1\u00eda comercializa en el pa\u00eds. Asimismo, el foco estar\u00e1 centrado en el procesamiento del producto de veh\u00edculos mineros, aunque tambi\u00e9n estar\u00e1 disponible para otras industrias.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">\u201cNosotros seremos capaces de reciclar una gran cantidad de neum\u00e1ticos que se venden, aparte del pasivo, que son los neum\u00e1ticos que llevan a\u00f1os botados, porque antes no hab\u00eda soluci\u00f3n para esto\u201d, recalc\u00f3 <strong>Guillermo Crevatin,<\/strong> gerente general de Michelin Chile para Pulso.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/amchamchile.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Gr%C3%A1fica-AmCham-Internas-2021-1.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">El ejecutivo agreg\u00f3 que la decisi\u00f3n de inversi\u00f3n tiene que ver con una visi\u00f3n de la compa\u00f1\u00eda de avanzar en econom\u00eda circular, pero tambi\u00e9n en la Ley REP. <strong>\u201cNuestra ambici\u00f3n es ir m\u00e1s all\u00e1 que solo la ley, pero tambi\u00e9n tenemos como objetivo aportar a la industria minera\u201d<\/strong>, subray\u00f3.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">De ese modo, con respecto a la decisi\u00f3n de invertir en el pa\u00eds, Guillermo Crevat\u00edn agreg\u00f3 que el proyecto consider\u00f3 diversos fatores, como la alta concentraci\u00f3n de clientes mineros, la Ley REP y la apertura del gobierno de Chile en este tipo de temas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">\u201cHan dado se\u00f1ales claras de inter\u00e9s en econom\u00eda circular y en sostenibilidad. Hay apoyo importante en el asesoramiento de este tipo de temas.
