{"id":2400,"date":"2021-05-04T17:37:54","date_gmt":"2021-05-04T20:37:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amcham.dmeat.cl\/?post_type=news&#038;p=2400"},"modified":"2021-12-30T16:46:58","modified_gmt":"2021-12-30T19:46:58","slug":"aceros-aza-presenta-su-reporte-de-sostenibilidad-2020","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/amchamchile.cl\/en\/noticia\/aceros-aza-presenta-su-reporte-de-sostenibilidad-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Aceros AZA presenta su Reporte de Sostenibilidad 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>El documento aborda acciones y compromisos en materia econ\u00f3mica, social y ambiental.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aceros AZA, empresa socia de AmCham Chile, public\u00f3 su <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aza.cl\/sostenibilidad\/reportes-de-sostenibilidad\/#reporte-2020\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reporte de Sostenibilidad 2020<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en l\u00ednea con la pr\u00e1ctica de responsabilidad y transparencia corporativa que realiza desde hace varios a\u00f1os en forma ininterrumpida y en donde\u00a0 presenta el accionar y los resultados de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, poniendo especial \u00e9nfasis en la forma c\u00f3mo enfrent\u00f3 la crisis generada por la pandemia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adem\u00e1s, en el documento visibiliza las medidas destinadas a proteger a sus colaboradores y a sus familias. Preocupaci\u00f3n que se extendi\u00f3 para ir en ayuda de sus proveedores de chatarra m\u00e1s vulnerables y a las comunidades donde la empresa mantiene operaciones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Reporte de Sostenibilidad 2020 de AZA tambi\u00e9n detalla los avances realizados durante el a\u00f1o en la consolidaci\u00f3n del ciclo completo de Econom\u00eda Circular, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n el s\u00f3lido compromiso por reducir a\u00fan m\u00e1s sus emisiones, firmado ante la Science Based Targets (SBT) a trav\u00e9s de la cual AZA se propuso las metas de reducir en un 50% sus emisiones de Gases de Efecto Invernadero (GEI) al 2030 y alcanzar la carbono neutralidad al 2050.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tambi\u00e9n, en el informe se destaca el primer an\u00e1lisis de la Huella H\u00eddrica de AZA y el estudio realizado para que las plantas de Renca y Colina se conviertan en unidades \u201cCero Residuos\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asimismo, se refleja la gesti\u00f3n de Aceros AZA alineada con los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de las Naciones Unidas (ONU).
