Hay batallas que hemos ganado a lo largo de los a\u00f1os, pero todav\u00eda tenemos deudas pendientes. En Chile, la inserci\u00f3n de la mujer en el mercado laboral sigue siendo baja. De acuerdo a cifras del INE, s\u00f3lo un 47,3% versus un 69% de los hombres, una cifra que es peor cuando miramos la presencia de mujeres en altos cargos dentro de las empresas IPSA, s\u00f3lo un 9,5% est\u00e1 en directorios.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las empresas tenemos que cambiar la forma de enfrentar el problema. Esto me recuerda una popular frase que dice que \u201clocura es hacer lo mismo una y otra vez esperando obtener resultados diferentes\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M\u00faltiples estudios demuestran que la diversidad, la inclusi\u00f3n y la equidad aumentan la capacidad de innovaci\u00f3n, los ingresos de las compa\u00f1\u00edas e incluso tienen el potencial de aumentar el PIB. Entonces, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 avanzamos tan lentamente?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las empresas tenemos que cambiar la forma de enfrentar el problema. Esto me recuerda una popular frase que dice que \u201clocura es hacer lo mismo una y otra vez esperando obtener resultados diferentes\u201d. Para abordar este desaf\u00edo tenemos que atrevernos a hacer cosas radicalmente distintas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En Oracle, por ejemplo, un 30,2% de nuestros colaboradores a nivel mundial son mujeres, una cifra que nos gustar\u00eda que fuera much\u00edsimo m\u00e1s alta, pese a la baja participaci\u00f3n de mujeres en tecnolog\u00eda y carreras STEM (por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s: Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda, Ingenier\u00eda y Matem\u00e1ticas).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ante esto, en Latinoam\u00e9rica nos atrevimos a cuestionar nuestro sistema de atracci\u00f3n de nuevo talento y fue as\u00ed como surgi\u00f3 un programa de pr\u00e1cticas profesionales que llamamos GenO.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esta iniciativa incorpor\u00f3 la premisa que las contrataciones se har\u00edan a trav\u00e9s de entrevistas ciegas con distorsi\u00f3n de voz, a estudiantes de cualquier edad, sin especificar de qu\u00e9 carreras ven\u00edan y en la que como criterio de selecci\u00f3n primaran las habilidades y valores de los postulantes. De esta manera, nos asegurar\u00edamos que los candidatos compartieran los valores corporativos de la compa\u00f1\u00eda al mismo tiempo que elimin\u00e1bamos los sesgos inconscientes del proceso de contrataci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Como resultado de este \u201cexperimento\u201d, el proceso de reclutamiento que llevamos a cabo el a\u00f1o pasado nos permiti\u00f3 alcanzar un hito hist\u00f3rico: 55% de los practicantes contratados en Latinoam\u00e9rica fueron mujeres.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este es un ejemplo de c\u00f3mo para un mismo problema pueden existir muchos caminos para superarlos.
