{"id":2126,"date":"2021-06-15T11:10:28","date_gmt":"2021-06-15T14:10:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amcham.dmeat.cl\/?post_type=news&#038;p=2126"},"modified":"2021-12-30T16:48:07","modified_gmt":"2021-12-30T19:48:07","slug":"epson-chile-lanza-campana-compromiso-medio-ambiente","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/amchamchile.cl\/en\/noticia\/epson-chile-lanza-campana-compromiso-medio-ambiente\/","title":{"rendered":"Epson Chile lanza campa\u00f1a impulsando su compromiso con el medioambiente"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La compa\u00f1\u00eda se une as\u00ed a Fundaci\u00f3n Reforestemos.<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A objeto de reafirmar su compromiso con la responsabilidad medioambiental, <strong>Epson Chile,<\/strong> empresa socia de <strong>AmCham Chile<\/strong>, decidi\u00f3 unirse a Fundaci\u00f3n Reforestemos en la recuperaci\u00f3n de \u00e1reas silvestres protegidas y zonas de alto valor ecol\u00f3gico de la Patagonia y del centro sur del pa\u00eds, con la colaboraci\u00f3n de sus clientes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Por cada impresora de la l\u00ednea corporativa <strong>Workforce\u00ae<\/strong> vendida a los clientes de Epson desde Abril 2021 a Marzo 2022, la tecnol\u00f3gica japonesa realizar\u00e1 un aporte equivalente a un \u00e1rbol nativo que ser\u00e1 plantado por Reforestemos en los bosques de Chile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\"><strong>La acci\u00f3n se alinea plenamente con la estrategia de sustentabilidad promovida por Epson a nivel global y que la ha hecho acreedora de diversos reconocimientos.<\/strong> De hecho, en noviembre del 2020, la compa\u00f1\u00eda obtuvo la clasificaci\u00f3n Platino de EcoVadis, dado su sobresaliente desempe\u00f1o en la gesti\u00f3n del medio ambiente y tambi\u00e9n por sus adquisiciones sostenibles, los derechos laborales y humanos, y la \u00e9tica, situ\u00e1ndose dentro del 1% de las mejores empresas de la industria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Por su parte, <strong>Fundaci\u00f3n Reforestemos lidera la campa\u00f1a de reforestaci\u00f3n y restauraci\u00f3n ecol\u00f3gica m\u00e1s grande de la historia de Chile.<\/strong> Su trabajo apunta a recuperar y proteger zonas degradadas por incendios, como tambi\u00e9n \u00e1reas de alto valor ecol\u00f3gico, adem\u00e1s de generar cultura y conciencia respecto a la importancia de los \u00e1rboles nativos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">\u201cParte de la oferta de valor de Epson en la impresi\u00f3n corporativa es la sustentabilidad. Nos preocupamos de que nuestros productos sean amigables con el medioambiente y queremos seguir impulsando este valor agregado en nuestros clientes. La l\u00ednea de impresoras Workforce\u00ae asociadas a esta campa\u00f1a, usan tecnolog\u00eda de inyecci\u00f3n de tinta y cabezal de impresi\u00f3n PrecisionCore\u00ae Heat- Free, lo que permite imprimir sin necesidad de calor en el proceso, consumiendo entre un 80% y 90% menos de electricidad que la tecnolog\u00eda de impresi\u00f3n l\u00e1ser. Por otro lado, estos equipos son construidos con menos pl\u00e1stico y al utilizar menos partes y piezas, generamos menos desechos.
