En tanto que a la cabeza del yacimiento cupr\u00edfero ubicado en Lo Barnechea quedar\u00e1 <strong>Patricio<\/strong> <strong>Hidalgo<\/strong>, quien hasta el momento se desempe\u00f1aba como\u00a0Gerente General de Spence, en BHP.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Patricio Chacana<\/strong>, quien lider\u00f3 Los Bronces por cinco a\u00f1os, es Ingeniero Qu\u00edmico de la Universidad Federico\u00a0Santa Mar\u00eda y cuenta con 24 a\u00f1os de experiencia en la industria minera. Desde su nuevo rol trabajar\u00e1 junto con las disciplinas de T&amp;S (Technical and Sustainability) para apoyar la estrategia de crecimiento de Metales\u00a0B\u00e1sicos, liderando las oportunidades de desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico que permitir\u00e1n a esta unidad de negocios abordar de mejor forma los desaf\u00edos futuros y continuar con desarrollos de modernizaci\u00f3n de las operaciones\u00a0mineras que forman parte de ella.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, Patricio Hidalgo es Ingeniero en Minas de la Universidad de Santiago. Se une a Anglo American luego de 15 a\u00f1os en BHP, donde desempe\u00f1\u00f3 diversos roles operacionales y comerciales en Singapur, Chile y Australia, siendo los \u00faltimos Gerente General de Cerro Colorado, Vicepresidente de Marketing y Gerente General de Spence, en Chile. Su nombramiento ser\u00e1 efectivo a contar del 1 de julio de 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Al respecto, el Presidente Ejecutivo de Anglo American en Chile, Aaron Puna, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que &#8220;<strong>Patricio Hidalgo es un profesional muy valorado en la industria minera y estamos seguros de que aportar\u00e1 su amplia experiencia\u00a0para liderar a nuestro equipo de Los Bronces<\/strong>.
