Este lunes, la C\u00e1mara Chilena Norteamericana de Comercio, AmCham Chile<\/strong>, llev\u00f3 a cabo el conversatorio \u201cConsejo Empresarial de Energ\u00eda Chile-Estados Unidos\u201d, con el objetivo de abordar el rol que juega la energ\u00eda limpia en la recuperaci\u00f3n sustentable. La jornada cont\u00f3 con la visita de David Turk<\/strong>, Acting Deputy Executive Director and Head of the Strategic Initiatives Office en la International Energy Agency (IEA), quien se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como el speaker principal del evento.<\/p>\n

El encuentro inci\u00f3 con palabras de bienvenida de Paula Est\u00e9vez<\/strong>, Gerente General de AmCham Chile, quien destac\u00f3 la relevancia de abarcar este tam\u00e1tica hoy, sobre todo cuando la actual crisis econ\u00f3mica y sanitaria ha proporcionado nuevas oportunidades para reconstruir en base al \u201cBuild Back Better\u201d<\/strong>, con una econom\u00eda m\u00e1s sustentbale y favorable para todos, algo que adem\u00e1s se ha convertido en una prioridad desde la C\u00e1mara con sus socios.<\/p>\n

Minutos despu\u00e9s, David Turk realiz\u00f3 una presentaci\u00f3n acerca de la labor general de la IEA \u2013agencia internacional creada para garantizar la seguridad de la energ\u00eda entre pa\u00edses miembros- y su relaci\u00f3n con Chile. Adem\u00e1s, entreg\u00f3 datos del impacto del Covid-19 a nivel energ\u00e9tico, las oportunidades que deja la crisis sanitaria para las energ\u00edas limpias y recuperaci\u00f3n sustentable -desde el sector p\u00fablico y privado-, las tecnolog\u00edas e innovaciones<\/strong> para lograr menos emisiones y sus desaf\u00edos.<\/p>\n

El experto adem\u00e1s aprovech\u00f3 la instancia para agradecer al pa\u00eds respecto a su liderazgo global en torno a energ\u00edas limpias<\/strong>, su labor en la reciente conferencia clim\u00e1tica (COP25) y en las reuniones internacionales planificadas para los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os respecto al tema.<\/p>\n
