El corto -de 15 minutos de duraci\u00f3n- documenta el viaje de inclusi\u00f3n LGBTQ+ de P&amp;G y aborda el impacto de la publicidad y los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, especialmente para aumentar la visibilidad de grupos minoritarios o marginados.<\/p>\n<p>El nuevo documental es antecedido por \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greatbigstory.com\/stories\/words-matter\">The Words Matter<\/a>\u201d (2018) y \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greatbigstory.com\/stories\/out-of-the-shadows\">Out of the Shadows<\/a>\u201d (2019) y busca evidenciar el rol de la publicidad a trav\u00e9s del relato de diferentes expertos y testimonios de personas pertenecientes a la comunidad LGBTQ+.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa publicidad tiene el poder de cambiar las percepciones y convertirse en un medio para empezar una conversaci\u00f3n\u201d, asegura Camila Peraldi, aliada de GABLE y gerente de Comunicaciones de P&amp;G Chile, destacando que \u201ccomo uno de los principales avisadores en el mundo tenemos una gran oportunidad para abordar prejuicios y ayudar a grupos minoritarios a verse representados con su propia voz\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El lanzamiento del documental coincide adem\u00e1s con el d\u00e9cimo aniversario de GABLE (Gay, Ally, Bisexual, Lesbian, and Transgender Employees, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), el grupo de afinidad de la comunidad LGBTQ+ y aliados en P&amp;G, el cual tiene como objetivo generar conciencia y promover la educaci\u00f3n en torno a la diversidad e inclusi\u00f3n al interior de la compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Los esfuerzos en materia LGBTQ+ comenzaron hace m\u00e1s de 25 a\u00f1os en P&amp;G gracias al trabajo de un grupo de empleados, liderados por el activista en derechos homosexuales, Michael Chanak. Fue as\u00ed como P&amp;G se convirti\u00f3 en una de las primeras compa\u00f1\u00edas Fortune 500 en agregar orientaci\u00f3n sexual a su declaraci\u00f3n de diversidad de igualdad de oportunidades de empleo en 1992. Las contribuciones de ese equipo permitieron la creaci\u00f3n GABLE.
