{"id":11659,"date":"2020-04-23T14:58:07","date_gmt":"2020-04-23T17:58:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amchamchile.cl\/?p=163018"},"modified":"2022-05-13T15:36:45","modified_gmt":"2022-05-13T19:36:45","slug":"subsecretario-rodrigo-yanez-participa-en-webinar-de-u-s-chamber-of-commerce","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/amchamchile.cl\/en\/noticia\/subsecretario-rodrigo-yanez-participa-en-webinar-de-u-s-chamber-of-commerce\/","title":{"rendered":"Subsecretario Rodrigo Y\u00e1\u00f1ez participa en webinar de U.S. Chamber of Commerce"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>El encuentro fue Americas Trade Outlook: What COVID-19 Means for Regional Trade.<\/h5>\n<p>El Subsecretario de Relaciones Econ\u00f3micas Internacionales, Rodrigo Y\u00e1\u00f1ez, particip\u00f3 de un encuentro virtual organizado por la C\u00e1mara de Comercio de Estados Unidos,\u00a0 &#8220;Americas Trade Outlook: What COVID-19 Means for Regional Trade&#8221;, que cont\u00f3 con m\u00e1s de 150 participantes, donde se abordaron las perspectivas comerciales de Am\u00e9rica Latina a la luz de la crisis causada por la pandemia, las medidas implementadas, as\u00ed como los desaf\u00edos y las oportunidades de la regi\u00f3n para enfrentar la recuperaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica.<\/p>\n<p>El subsecretario particip\u00f3 en un panel sobre la visi\u00f3n general de la respuesta regional ante el COVID-19, junto a sus pares, el Secretario de Comercio Exterior de Brasil, Lucas Ferraz; la Viceministra de Comercio Exterior de Colombia, Laura Valdivieso; la Subsecretaria de Comercio Exterior de M\u00e9xico, Luz Mar\u00eda de la Mora; y la Viceministra de Comercio Exterior de Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, Yahaira Sosa.<\/p>\n<p>Rodrigo Y\u00e1\u00f1ez se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la pandemia del COVID-19 llega a Chile en un momento en que su comercio exterior ha estado debilitado por el impacto de diversas situaciones adversas, tanto en el escenario internacional como nacional, donde destacan la prolongada Guerra Comercial entre China y Estados Unidos; la ca\u00edda en los precios de las materias primas y alta volatilidad de las monedas de los pa\u00edses emergentes frente al d\u00f3lar estadounidense.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa suma de todos estos fen\u00f3menos ha derivado en contracciones tanto de demanda internacional como disponibilidad de oferta exportable a nivel nacional, afectando nuestro intercambio con el mundo. Estamos trabajando en estrecha coordinaci\u00f3n para identificar y abordar interrupciones al comercio. Es de nuestro inter\u00e9s garantizar que nuestros v\u00ednculos comerciales permanezcan abiertos, incluyendo el transporte a\u00e9reo y mar\u00edtimo, con el objeto de facilitar el flujo de bienes y suministros esenciales\u201d, dijo.<\/p>\n<p>La autoridad adem\u00e1s se\u00f1al\u00f3 que, como parte del esfuerzo, Chile junto a Australia, Brun\u00e9i Darussalam, Canad\u00e1, la Rep\u00fablica de la Uni\u00f3n de Myanmar, Nueva Zelanda y Singapur anunciaron una declaraci\u00f3n para mantener las cadenas de suministro abiertas y conectadas, con foco en el suministro de primera necesidad.<\/p>\n<p>En la oportunidad el subsecretario Rodrigo Y\u00e1\u00f1ez destac\u00f3 que se est\u00e1 haciendo seguimiento al\u00a0 funcionamiento de las cadenas de suministro para reaccionar oportunamente ante las dificultades que puedan surgir dada la crisis sanitaria.<\/p>\n<p>El trabajo ha estado focalizado en avanzar en las soluciones que se requieren ante la emergencia en cuanto a pasos fronterizos, en zonas con aislamiento preventivo, requisitos documentales (certificaciones Comex), requerimientos de insumos m\u00e9dicos, y gestiones con nuestras contrapartes comerciales, entre otros.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El encuentro fue Americas Trade Outlook: What COVID-19 Means for Regional Trade.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":27906,"parent":0,"template":"","news_tax":[51,56],"user_type":[44,6],"class_list":["post-11659","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","news_tax-amcham-al-dia","news_tax-embajada-eeuu-chile","user_type-actividades-amcham","user_type-general"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
