En el evento se profundiz\u00f3 sobre la tasa de cotizaci\u00f3n de afiliados, la importancia de evitar lagunas en las cotizaciones y en la necesidad de estimular nuevos mecanismos de ahorro en la ciudadan\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>En el seminario tambi\u00e9n se abord\u00f3 la importancia en torno a una discusi\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis del sistema previsional chileno, pero desde nuevos espacios de di\u00e1logo y teniendo presente que el actual sistema ha creado fondos importantes de ahorro que hoy ascienden a US$ 173.000 millones, equivalente a 70% del PIB nacional. Adem\u00e1s, ha permitido el crecimiento de un mercado de capitales robusto, el cual ha tenido un rol clave en la canalizaci\u00f3n de recursos hacia inversiones productivas y rentables.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-150602 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.amchamchile.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Expertos_Baja-1024x586.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"508\" height=\"331\" \/><br \/>\nAcad\u00e9micos de universidades estadounidenses dieron su visi\u00f3n sobre el futuro del sistema previsional chileno.[:en]Economists Sergio Urz\u00faa, Andras Uthoff and Sebasti\u00e1n Edwards have engaged in the analysis of the scope and challenges of a possible reform to the Chilean pension system. This analysis took place in the seminar \u2018Where is the Chilean Pension System Heading?\u2019, which was introduced by the Undersecretary of Finance, Alejandro Micco. The seminar covered areas including the contribution rate of pension contributors, the importance of avoiding contribution pools, and the need to incentivize and stimulate new savings mechanisms among the general public.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar also focused on the need for discussions on and analysis of the Chilean pension system, albeit from new dialogue spaces and by taking into account that the current system has generated significant savings totaling around US$173 billion, equivalent to 70% of Chilean GDP.
