Los fondos ser\u00e1n destinados para la construcci\u00f3n de viviendas para los damnificados de los incendios forestales que afectaron recientemente la zona centro-sur del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Techo Chile es\u00a0una organizaci\u00f3n privada sin fines de lucro, creada en el a\u00f1o 1997, cuyo prop\u00f3sito es trabajar para la superaci\u00f3n de la pobreza en el pa\u00eds a trav\u00e9s de la construcci\u00f3n de viviendas de emergencia destinadas a personas de escasos recursos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEs una verdadera satisfacci\u00f3n para nosotros el poder contribuir con esta causa\u201d, expres\u00f3 Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Odriozola, presidente de Operaciones de UPS para la Regi\u00f3n de las Am\u00e9ricas. \u201cUPS est\u00e1 comprometida con las comunidades en las que sus empleados viven y trabajan. Agradecemos la oportunidad de poder colaborar con Techo Chile para ayudar a las personas m\u00e1s afectadas por los incendios forestales en Chile\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, Gonzalo Rodr\u00edguez, Director Social de Techo Chile, coment\u00f3: &#8220;Estamos muy agradecidos por este aporte de la Fundaci\u00f3n UPS, el cual vamos a destinar para apoyar a las familias en las zonas afectadas.
